Each watercolor painting is a delicate, handmade piece of art. To preserve its beauty for years to come, please follow these care tips:

1. Keep Away from Direct Sunlight
Watercolor pigments are sensitive to UV light. To avoid fading, display your artwork away from direct sunlight or in a frame with UV-protective glass.

2. Avoid Moisture & Humidity
Watercolor paper is vulnerable to moisture. Hang or store your painting in a dry environment to prevent warping or damage.

3. Frame It Properly
For best protection, use a high-quality frame with a mat (to prevent the painting from touching the glass) and acid-free backing. This helps protect against dust, humidity, and yellowing over time.

4. Handle with Clean Hands
Always handle your painting with clean, dry hands to avoid smudging or staining the paper.

5. Do Not Laminate or Spray
Avoid laminating or spraying your painting with fixatives or varnishes unless you're experienced — these may damage delicate pigments.

3. Review the Sketch

Before I begin the final painting, I’ll send you a sketch preview so you can confirm the direction and request any changes.

4. Approve & Receive

Once your portrait is complete, I’ll send you a photo of the final artwork for approval before shipping.
